I've tried everything I could to get my ruler not to slip while I was cutting so I decided to get myself a "Quick Release Clamp". It works like a charm.

Great idea! I push my ruler up against the wall and that works very well too. No wall, then I will need a clamp like yours too!

Love the clamp idea!! I have several small ones that will work just fine. Why didn't I think of that?! I have a terrible time keeping the ruler from slipping right at the end!

This is a wonderful idea. I balance on one leg when I am cutting long strips, and my ruler always seems to move. I will steal one of these from my DH and see how that helps me. Thanks....quilters are the best....and the smartest!
