    My "Summer in the Park" and use of left over scraps

    When finished with my "Summer in the Park" I loved the fabrics that I used in it so I utilized all the scraps into a scrappy throw that I had no idea of any organized pattern I was gonna do...just utilized the fabric I had

    Yes... Summer in the Park is a tube strip method... It's on utube... I think it's a Missouri Star Quilt co utube. It was quite easy.

    Beautiful....every time i see a purple quilt i get a terrible case of the guilts...... Quilt Guilt -- another neurosis!!! I have GOT to get busy on one for my Mom. She so loves the color purple.

    At first, I didn't know which was the scrappy quilt. Had to read your post again. They are fantastic. I have to watch Jenny's YouTube again and make that quilt. I've seen it several times, but never with the intention of making one, until now. Thanks for sharing! Gave me a good idea!!!!!

    LOVE both of these...the colors are right up my alley! I have Summer in the Park on my list as soon as I finish 3 quilts for Christmas. You did a GREAT job on both of these.
    Remember the teakettle...it is always up to its neck in hot water, yet it still sings!
