    Default My turn!

A friend told me she had been yard sale shopping and had gotten "some fabric scraps" for $3 and did I want them. Of course I said YES! This is what was in the bag. Picture to follow

Not only was there fabric but the paper and cardboard templates for at least three different quilts, squares already cut, and a couple hst blocks handpieced. Plus a pattern from a package of batting.

And most interesting of all - a small notepad from a company in Houston with the phone number not yet having an area code!

Aren't scrap bags fun ? I love to see what others have worked with. Even if you only get a few pieces that are all cotton you can pass the others along to someone else. You are lucky to have a friend like that.... I am in the process of sharing scraps with a new quilter in another state. Hugs

Lucky you...I love finding old fabrics and patterns. I bought a box of scraps years ago that had a pattern in it cut from an old brown paper bag from Montgomery Wards and a cardboard quilting pattern. Such fun!
