Wonderful that you have your own space now! Also, I think, a good thing for your daughters to see that moms matter.

My brother & I had bunk beds for a few years. It was great! LOL

Congrats!!
I had to wait for a child to move out before I finally got my own room. Had over taken the dining room before that.
One of these days I'll have MY OWN house and I will have a room that is MINE, MINE, MINE and I won't have to pack it up every 2-3 years and move it with the hopes that our next place will have a room big enough for all my stuff.

Congrats! Only another quilter knows how good it feels to have your own space. We hate having to waste time unpacking or moving things to get to our sewing fix. My sewing room is an organized mess that makes me happy. Enjoy your new sewing room.

When we built our house, I insisted on a sewing room. I got it. Then my DH became a CB radio nut and the only place to put the equipment was in half my sewing room. GRRRRR I swore when my four sons moved out I would take a bedroom and have a SR again. BUT they kept moving back in until they got married and established. Since my DH passed away, I now have the whole house and I'm having a ball. Put the quilting machine in the dining room and took the second biggest room ( the Florida room) 20 x 24 for sewing. Heaven can't be any better than this.
