Now that sounds like an excellent gift, and I say I agree she made out better than chocolate and flowers. How nice to spend the day doing things that both of you can enjoy. Congrats on getting the ""Holiday"" right.

Yesterday, being our 26th aniv. I took my darling to the closest Box-mart. I then showed her
the prety yellow roses,
the box of candy,
and the sexy outfit,
I would have baught for her.
We then put it all back on the shelf. We saved a bunch of money doing that.
When we got home I got out my Tattoo case. And now we share a gift to last a life time...

The trip, the shopping, all of it sounds just wonderful. That $8.00 sewing machine was a real bargain.

What a great husband your wife has! Lucky her and lucky you for having her.
That in it's self is a great valentine's Day gift.

If I sent you my address, could you just reprint this post and send in a plain brown envelop to my sweet hubby. I can't imagine such a treat!! I would have been bowled over by your thoughtfulness.
