Has anyone seen the little machine that cuts strips? And little it is. Walmart has one ($50) that cuts strips from 1/2" to 2 1/2". I'm going to get one if only to see how it operates. It just really has my curiousity up. Does anyone have one? I'd love to hear what you think of it. Glenda

what is the brand? I have read that the Simplicity takes a lot of learning time and is not as easy as the demo looks.
    So what is the brand.

I'll have to stop by there and see who makes it.

If it's like the bias tape maker, the time you save in the actual process is taken up in the set up. Good luck with it.

A friend got one as a gift and asked me to try it out. I can cut with my rotary cutter much faster. You have to be careful, one little wobble and its out of the guide giving irregular results. IMO its not worth the money. Friend may like it as she doesn't use the ruler and rotary much.

I had the simplicity one and only used it once. I much prefer to cut with my rotary cutter. I got it as a gift when they first came out and were pricey. It sat on a shelf for a couple of years and just sold it to get it out of the way.

I've heard mostly negative things about it.
