I am new to quilting and have only done one quilt and I did it on my 25 year old Kenmore.

A very nice lady in our group gave me a Babylock Audrey machine today. She said she had only used it twice and didn't like it.

It looks like a nice machine. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this machine. Any particular like or dislikes?

Thanks for the feedback.

I have this machine as my class/travel machine and really like it. The only downside to this machine is the small harp and the light is not as bright as some models

Yes I do! I just bought it yesterday from a lady who was selling it brand new in its box, used only for 1/2 hour and 3 mos old and I got it for $300!!! woo hoo! I needed a back up machine and since I also own the Babylock Ellure Plus I have pure confidence in their products. I tested it last night and it works like a dream! The reason why she sold it was because she actually won it at a Babylock quilting retreat! So its brand new and I even have the warranty! Good luck in your choice!

Oh btw I agree with Tilladare, the lighting is very small and the harp area is small but for a basic machine its good. Also if you have a portable ott-lilte it can brighten upn the sewing area much better!
