Default need flying geese help

I am quite a bit math challenged so I need help doing the math! My center of quilt is 20" & I need to know how many geese I need to make for it to come out evenly all the way around that center. I've watched a lot of Utube & read a lot of different ways to do it but the math part is where I goof up every time!! Help!

work from the finished size to begin with. Then see what numbers go evenly into those measurements. For example, with 20 inches you have a choice of 4 inches or 5 inches.
Remember then to add seam allowances to each part of each of the geese.
4" fg = center 4 1/2" x 2 1/2" and ends are 2 1/2" squares each.
5" fg = center 5 1/2 " x 3" and ends are 3" squares each.

A least that is how I do it. I think.

48 if the finished size of each block is 2x4 - that is if the finished size of the center is 20 inches. 10 across both top and bottom (or on the sides) and 14 on each of the other sides

With FINISHED Flying Geese, the length is twice the width. You will need to make 48 2"x 4" flying geese for this border. I am assuming there is a 1/4" border on your center section. This will give you a 4" finished border. Hope this helps.

Maniac quilter, what kind of computer program did you use to make up your diagram? So many of you post such nice drawings. Some even outine sections? Do you know what program would allow you to do that?
