well, here I am again asking for help. I have made a quilt for my husband from a pattern out of Eleanor Burns book "Quilts thru the Seasons". I made the one that is all triangles and sashing out of some plaid fat quarters that I have had sitting around forever. Anyway, I can't for the life of me figure out what to design to use as a motif inside the triangles. My husband said he likes the feathers that I did on another quilt I just finished, but I don't think that would be good on the plaid. The plaids are small and the colors are from blue/beige, green/beige and red/beige variations. Any help would be greatly appreciated. you ladies are awsome!

P.S. on my last ? about chging for repairing quilt. They deceided not to go with it.

I am a complete novice, but I like the one I just finished. I SITD the blocks, then FMQed different motifs in the squares. It has stars, a heart, some meandering, some concentric circles, some overlapping circles, some waves, etc. It sounds like you could do more complicated squares, not my beginner ones.

I like the idea of concentric circles around the plaids.straight and squares opposing the circles. I think it would look good.

Just my HO, I think if your DH likes the feathers and the quilt is for him, I would do the feathers. He will know you listened to his opinion and you will have made him happy. :)
