The butterflies are big..if I use them as the little center squares they will be lost. And I really only want small amounts of the yellow and orange.....I think I will do an inner border of purple and an outer border, binding and backing in black! OK..The quilt is done! I did the 10 min block with 2 butterfly corners, 1 purple corner and one bright blue corner. The center little square is black, Borders and binding are purple and the backing is the butterfly fabric because I know she will love it! I have the FMQ done and will bind it tonight. Will post a picture to morrow! Thanks for all of the great ideas...I do appreciate your input!

I just love this board for all the ideas and suggestions. I'm glad you finished your quilt, can't wait to see a picture. Your butterfly fabric was beautiful, would you be willing to share the name of it, designer / manufacturer ? thanks
