Need help making corner 4patch on boarder.
I can't seem to figure this out. I want a 3 1/2 inch sq finished 4 patch. What size strips sould I sew together. I am using two different Fabrics. I will sew these 4patches to each corner of 3 1/2 strips of boarder. Thanks if anyone can help me figure this out.

Don't you just love story problems?
Finished size for each square of the 4 patch is 1 3/4". Add 1/2" for your seam allowances. Each square should be 2 1/4" unfinished. Your strip width should be 2 1/4".
Hope this helps,
Rodney

Is your border CUT at 3.5" or 4"?
For a border cut at 3.5", cut your 4-patch strips at 2"
For a border cut at 4", cut you 4-patch strips at 2 & 1/4"
