Oooh, good one! Thank you Woodster. Is that a Spinoni you have there in your Avatar?
Yes he is! His name is Woody, 5 years old and the best dog we've ever had. Most people have no idea what he is. Good job!
LOL! Cute name. I'm very familiar w/most breeds, spent most of my previous life showing dogs. Love the Spinoni Italiano and glad that they finally got recognized by the AKC. I love that scruffy look

You show? Thought so, only a person "exposed" or involved would know what a Spinoni is!

I think it depends on what look you are going for. If the "plate" is going to bring those colors into the room you are using it in and not just to show off the "plate, then I think #2 is best. If you want to show the "plate" off, then I like #3. My suggestion would be to keep your audition staged just the way you have it, maybe keeping them in different rooms of the house so they don't complete loudly with one another. Don't concentrate on them, just allow them to be where you'll see them now and again. I'll bet one will start to feel more right than the others. When it does, that's your choice. And your grandmother may have been helping in that process still.
