I try to quilt for 15 minutes per day. In Dec, I was feeling so uninspired and I hadn't quilted in a month. I was knitting. I love my rectangular loom, so fast to knit with. Anyway, no quilting. So then someone on here suggested committing to 15 minutes per day. So I've been doing that and I've been much more excited to do things. And after 15 minutes, I can pat myself on the back for getting something done. At first, it was a bit of a drag to even get started, but I just reminded myself I could handle 15 minutes. Now when I get home, I take out my contacts, put on my sweats, and quilt until DH comes home

The quilting board usually will put me in the mind to sew. I see something I like and want to make.

I haven't felt much like sewing since Christmas, I think I'm just burned out. So I just relax. Eventually the urge will come back, probably with a vengeance. In the meantime, I wouldn't worry about it.

We all need a break from time to time. Do something different and recharge. Doing the same thing day in and day can burn you out. Ive been thinking about going out to movie by myself. Havent been out in months, that is for anything other than visiting friends and folks and going to grocery store. Wintertime can really take a toll on us. I like to look through spring catalogs and plan for gardening, all the pretty pictures of whats to come gets me charged up and excited knowing that soon I can get outside more. I agree with what lalaland said, no need to worry about it.

Thanks for all the ideas. I may just still be burnt out from the "crunch time" at Christmas. I did set myself a deadline for putting the borders on a quilt & even called my quilter. Thought the deadline would help (kind of like a swap deadline).

I stop thinking about what project I should be working on and work on something totally new. Often I'm reluctant to dew because I dislike what I'm working on. Funny thing is that after I've taken a break, the old project is easier to get back to work on.
