    Your quilt is STUNNING! I def like the ribbon border. I would also float it in between two white borders and then bind in the dark floral fabric.

    I like the ribbon border but I think it needs a white border between main body and ribbon. To make it longer you could make this border deeper at top and bottom.

    I love the ribbon border. Agree with others that it needs a narrow white strip and then the border.

    I would like to see another row of blocks at the top and bottom to get the rectangular shape you are wanting. Then I do always like to see a bit of the original fabric somewhere on the quilt. I am loving your original fabric and the blocks. Awesome!
    Also, I agree with the others that your ribbon boarder will shine with some white between it and the rest of the quilt and if it were a bit larger. However, since you have already used piano key (?) or stripe in the quilt, I think another wider border of the same would look really nice also.
