Have you thought about a Dresden or crazy quilt? There's also a book called "Dad's Ties"....it has all sorts of patterns and uses for neck-ties. Let me go out to the shop and see if I can find the book, and give you the info on it.

Do a search on here for tie quilts. You'll find several threads that give lots of info. Tie quilts are lots of fun. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...lt-t22667.html

There's a pattern by Thankfully Sew called The Best Two Years that is specifically a quilt made using ties. It's cute an goes together quick. Also, I've done sort of a strip tube tie quilt.

Go to Google Images and type in "Quilts made with ties". There are lots of pictures of quilts made with men's ties to give you some great ideas.
