I'm leaning towards an Irish Chain in fall colors.....Jenny from Missouri Star makes everything look so easy. I could watch her all day:-).

Hi everyone, I have just joined today and I am glad I found this thread.
My daughter is getting married in August this year. I have made hanging hearts as wedding favours in different fabrics of her choosing.
I have decided to make her a quilt using these same fabrics, it's a jelly roll quilt, however I have cut my own strips it's called 'Jitterbug' quite a lot of piecing but I know she will love it.
I know the wedding ring quilt is lovely, but young people want something more modern (well my daughter does) - this is just my own opinion.

Irish Chain. Always a favorite whether it's a single, double or triple.

A double Irish chain is a beautiful quilt - easy to make and looks like you are an expert when you're done. Post a picture when you're done!

Don't bother with finding a UNIQUE pattern. Instead find colors and prints that mean something special to your son and wife. A very very simple pattern becomes personal that way
