    Need pattern ideas

DIL wants quilt done in black, grey, dark blue and light blue. I've been trying to think of a pattern. Anyone have any ideas?
    Thanks. Terry

You might get ideas looking at this quilt - http://caledoniaquilter.blogspot.com...-yeah-and.html Or just tell your DIL to find a pattern that she likes in those colors.

I immediately thought that you might want to try at Storm at Sea. You might need more fabrics/colors than those four but you could still stay in the blues and black/grays.

It kind of depends on her style. Do you need something modern or more traditional? It's hard to suggest without knowing.

    Some thoughts:
disappearing 9 patch with 3 of the colors and then sash the blocks with the 4th color
    diamond rail fence
    sampler quilt
Missouri Star Quilt Co. out of bounds quilt

I've been loving all the Chevron quilts posted on QB. A simple back visually striking quilt pattern.

My first thought was Log Cabin, too.

Or what about the regular Labyrinth pattern. I think that has 4 colors. I just got done quilting one for a lady and it was a beautiful quilt.

Labyrinth is exactly what came to my mind, too. I've never made one...yet...on the "bucket" list.
