Sitd around the presents and swirls on the background, so the presents will pop! Pretty quilt.

That's a cute quilt! With all that white space around the packages, you could divide the spaces up into different areas and do different fills in each section. I like to do that because I get to quilt a bunch of different things, but in smaller amounts to I don't get bored. I think you'd still have to SID around the packages and ribbons. I'll try to attach a photo of one I've done.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I decided to go with swirls and stars around the tree, and SITD for the presents. In progress now, so hopefully I can post a photo in the next day or two.
