Need quilting suggestions
I just can't think of how to quilt this flannel, warm and cozy, lap quilt that I'm making for myself. I already stitched in the ditch along the outer edge of the thin border, but I just can't figure out what to do in the blocks, or overall. I'm at a loss. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Carol

What a great quilt! Makes me want to snuggle up in it. Sorry, I don't have any suggestions for quilting, just had to tell you that I love the quilt!! I tend to prefer SID, and I know that is not what most folks prefer. You have probably already done all the SID you want to.

Great, cozy top! It all depends on what look you want. If you want the fabric design to shine I would do a simple meander in a neutral thread. If you want to add texture, you might do a different Leah Day design in each block just to have fun.

I like very loose quilting on my flannel quilts to keep them soft and cuddly, usually a large stipple or simple cross hatch. I also like the idea of a fan design with widely spaced arcs. Love your fabric!

Just a thought but what about echoing some of the print like the fence, some of the trees and maybe even the buildings. I did that with the whole cloth quilt for my GS that had some rather large shapes. It seemed to make the pattern stand out better.
