Check on http://www.govdeals.com then check in your county / township / etc. I got three solid wood office desks and a credenza for $37.00. All are in great shape and the perfect height for cutting, sewing, and ironing. ( I'm 5' 5").
All you have to do is set up an account and bid on your item...easy-peasy :)

Here is a 3 part video on HGTV that shows different ways to set up a sewing area from a whole room to a closet. Hope it helps.

Check Walmart & walmart.com, sometimes it is on there cheaper.

I won't have a ton of room, but I'd like to have a sturdy table and room to iron and have storage. What are my options? My budget is about $150-200. Am I dreaming?
this is the best price I have found!
