Anyone can order Brother parts. When a repairman told me he couldn't order a new thread cutter for me because he wasn't a Brother dealer I ordered one online from a Brother dealer. Took it to the repairman and he put it in. Makes no sense he couldn't order it. He had no idea parts could be bought by anyone online and was very miffed they could.
