Lovely block! I've been quilting for nearly 40 years and I don't recall seeing anything like this. It should be stunning when you finish. Be sure to post pics

I know what you mean about being unsure. You don't want to infringe on someone else's copyright.
Check out Quilters Cache for LOTS of squares, some of them copyrighted, some not.

If you make a pattern, I want to buy it. I love what the quilt will look like. At my LQS the gal that owns it makes her own patterns and uses her copy machine and buys the plastic covers and uses color photos and sells them for $8.00 each. I'm sure she has them copyrighted. Check into it. It's so pretty. Good job!! I'm so impressed!
