I know a few people were curious about Connecting Threads' "Scrap Bag" and what it would contain. I'm posting a picture of what I received in mine.
There were 17 strips, each about 51" long, cut along the selvedge edge (the selvedges are included). There were an additional 8 shorter strips. The usable fabric width of the strips ranges from 1.5" to 4". All of these strips are from the "Canning Day" collection. The price of the scrap bag was $7.99. It is no longer on their website, so I'm not sure if they will continue to offer these scraps or if it was just an experiment!
I will probably end up cutting all of these into squares for future use, maybe for pieced backings or a small charity quilt.
