I got the janome 6600 in August and love it!! And the Yahoo group for the 6500/6600 has taught me so much!! I joined the group before I bought my machine and they were very helpful with all of my questions.

I have a Baby Lock Ellure that I love. It is a sewing(quilting) & Embroidery machine. It is not too heavy and it can be taken to classes. I bought it because it had both sewing & embroidery features. The Baby Locks are good machines. Have you ever heard of Nancy Zieman or Eleanor Burns? That is what they use on their shows. Visit babylock.com and look up local retailers. It will tell you who is in your area and then go & see what they have. They are always having good sales on their machines, usually about this time of year as they are getting the new models in.
