    Started sewing in 1956 (age 10). Made my first quilt in 1968 - 43 years ago.

    My aunt, my uncles second wife owned a long arm quilting business, she pieced quilts and also took in quilt tops to quilt. She taught me to piece quilts in 1968, 43 years.

    Probably about 18 months.... which is a baby in quilting terms really! Need loads of help and advice!

    I made my first true quilt pillow in 1980, a Mexican Star. I made odd quilted pieces and projects between then and 2008 when I began to quilt weekly, daily, and dream quilts when driving, shopping reading and .... sleeping.
