I got tin Lizzy set up tonight, tight fit might have to cut her down to 8 ft.

My quilt frame is also a tight fit. I have appx 1.5' either side, in a room only 8' X 16' so I built a base for it making it easy to slide back and forth. I have sliders on the bottom. With your floor you could put carpet on the bottom to slide with.

Go UP UP UP!!! I have a small room crammed full, but very efficient. My sewing machine sits on a long folding table and there is a book case siiting on each end,3 other booksheves for fabric and supplies, and bins under my work areas.

I used 1 - 4'X8' 3/4" Birch plywood, cut in half length wise, then added a 1'X3' piece. 4 coats of varnish on the bottom, sanding after each, and sliders. You may need more plywood, depending on how far apart the feet are spaced.
