Great idea. I love new quilting products. I don't mind if I use it one time or a hundred. When I need it, it's mine.

I was at a show recently in CA and saw a couple of inventions for keeping rulers stable as you cut. Both were actual full ruler assemblies, not a tool to assist a ruler you already have like you found. I'm going to keep my eye out for this, I would rather invest in a tool to assist me rather than new rulers.

I started using an 8 pound weight to weigh down my rulers and it's the best thing I've ever done. It's a cylinder about 3" across and 5" high. Keeps the ruler nice and steady.

It will be nice when they get the video up to demonstrate how it is used. I'm a gadget-holic love them.

This looks like a winner. Best one I have seen - hope we get them soon as the other gadgets are less than suitable.
