I like to keep the centre dark or bright and consistent. It pulls the whole quilt together and makes it look like some planning went into it.

I would love to see it when you are finished with it, I agree the dark would be better in the center.

I agree with the suggestion of moving the dark brown to the center, but either way will look good.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Too late to move the brown to the middle, so I will just move forward and see how it turns out! pics later

You can print out some of your blocks, cut up the paper copies, and reassemble to see how it will look.
