I don't see a thing wrong with it. It sounds like the most perfect vacation to me. The cabin sounds like a place we stayed in Maggie Valley NC. It was very relaxing. Good for you. Can't wait to see your quilt.

I totally understand. My DH and I go camping quite a lot and I bought a small sewing machine that stays in the RV. I also have a couple of WIP's that I only work on while camping. DH fishes and I make quilts. That's a perfect day!!

[quote=luvTooQuilt]Im jealous!!... You are sooooo lucky!!!!
Oh to quilt till my hearts content, not having to make breakfast, lunch or dinner for anyone.. Not worry about the dishes in the sink.. No cleaning, no vacuuming.. What a life..!!
So happy you got awaySomebody had to do it and I'm glad it was you and your hubby. I'm still jealous though. I hope you are well rested because now you have to make three quilts ( just joking)

I'm so happy for you.. I do the same thing when we go camping. I also put my small brother quilting machine in our camper and everything i need to do my quilting. My husband in the evening is usually watching TV so I plug my machine in and quilt away. So I say good for you to get away where it is quite and know one around to botter you and do your thing.....enjoy ...........
