Yes, we do understand that quilting in a nice enviroment is WONDERFUL!! When you work all day. come home to cook and clean up, it doesn't leave much time to relax. Can't wait to you your quilts

Sounds DIVINE...Everyone needs to do what THEY want to do when on vacation. I wish I could do that sometime. My husband is a type A, and whenever we go somewhere, it's cram as much in as possible so you go home totally exhausted. Your getaway sounds perfect to me!

I am leaving this AM for a lovely trip West with my DH, GD and 2 yr old GGS. While this will be a nice trip How I wish I could have remained at home puttering around in peace and quiet. I will be wore out when I finally get home. I do not care for long trips. Every piece of the car is packed to the hilt. Let me also say my GD has done everything possible to make it a pleasant journey.

Happy quilting everyone.

This is exactly the vacation that I have wanted to take for years. Sewing in a cabin in the mountaisn with a bubbling brook running by....ah, sweet heaven!!! Glad you enjoyed your vacation!!

I did the exact same thing two weeks ago but on my own. Needless to say, many strange looks and reactions!
