I agree that you could just do a binding, but I would add one more row at the top so you do not lose the top sashing. It might also make a more balanced feel with the bottom having the 2 'extra' rows. Love this idea of the ornaments tree!

That is a really cool quilt. When I first looked at it I thought, "Oh snowballs". But no, they are framed and then sashed. I love all things Christmas and I would love to copy your quilt! What is your pattern?

At the very top of the top ball, I think I would add gold or silver as if it is being placed on the tree. Personally, I would put a border of green or brown on it. After all, it is a tree. Perhaps you want to hang it and this way it will look like a tree with the Christmas balls on it. Wonderful look! Let us know what you do.
