Sewing and quilting is good therapy and a gift as others here else said.
Thinking this out: I get depressed if I don't make something every so often. There is a part of me that has to be creative and if I don't fulfill my creative side occasionally, sometimes obsessively, then I am just not happy.

The high achieved when you are on a roll at your sewing machine is evidence of the quilting addiction and feels soooooo good. Finished quilts give an even greater feeling. No cure or rehab is known for this condition. Enjoy!
