I think it's really very nice. To me, it looks like art-work glass beads.
Maybe you are just experiencing that stage of "hate it and want it to be done with" which many of us feel with pretty much every quilt at some stage in the process. The trick is to learn to work right through it. You'll feel the love later, when it's done.

I love your OBW! They always look like galaxies to me. I can't wait to try one. I appreciate the heads up on getting tired of putting blocks together. I feel better prepared knowing to expect "block fatigue"!

It's very textural and eye pleasing. I too can see how hard this would be to complete, but what an awesome quilt you will have once done. I love the colors together and that it's different than most I see. Hugs and smilesssss!!

OBW is One Block Wonder- it is a (technique) quilting pattern- there are books/patterns out called 'One Block Wonders', more one block wonders and one block wonders encore---among others- people here just abbreviate it for simplicity.
