Great find!! I once rescued what I thought was a box of tea towels, etc, from the free pile after a garage sale and found not one but TWO vintage, handmade christening gowns!! Amazing what some people throw away or let go to the auction.

Nice haul! I keep dreaming that I'll get one of these blessings by the quilt fairy someday.

I got pieces of a quilt from a garage sale. Few weeks later I got more pieces of a quilt from another garage sale. When I finally opened the bags (they were both $5 bags) I realized they came from the same family. Brother and sister split them equally and still never used them. They were redwork for a baby girl I assume. Sunbonnet Sue and ladies. I cleaned them carefully and have stashed them (forgot where). One day I will promote them from a UFOs.

Unbelievable! I’m ready to offer you $50.00 for the Blue and White Hunter’s Star, sight unseen. Then you would have spent zilch...
