Oh Dear, Thank you all so much for the nice welcome. And QBee thanks for finding the pattern. The rose looks very much like it, but not the configuration. I did find another pattern in a quilting book that had the configuration, but not the flower; it was Dogwood pattern. I'm thinking after seeing the Ohio Rose pattern on line, that perhaps Auntie combined the two, placing the Ohio Rose on the branches, though in soft green, used in Dogwood. And also added rose leaves. I'll do some drawing combining the two and see if that works.
Interesting that all the replies come from the East, but not surprising. As a displaced Buckeye from NE Ohio, I know the Ohio rose grows wild, and is not like a typical rose bush as is often thought of when we think rose bush.
Another passion is genealogy. Most of my maternal lines are ended up in Central PA; Elk, Cameron, Centre, Jefferson, after landing early in eastern counties.
Thanks again - so nice to have friendly welcome.

I'm sorry it wasn't the exact pattern but I bet you are correct...I bet it was a combination. I don't think my grandmother ever followed a pattern exactly...LOL :D Good luck with the quilt and again, WELCOME!! :D
