I love thrift shops and this one is a treasure chest for you! I would have swooped both deals up too. I know they thanked you for your generosity. I lucked up once and got a book with 20 quilt projects plus 40 machine embroidery designs and yes the CD with the designs was in the back book cover! I can't remember the price but I know it was less than a dollar.

What a score!
I love playing with EQ. I think I got the upgrade to 7 but my box is still 6 so maybe not. Does enough of what I want. I need a new license to install it on this system, is one of the reasons I still have my old system set up and accessible to me at the expense of eating at the dining room table.
My recent thrift shop score is a bag of someone's fabric souvenirs from a trip to Indonesia including many 2 yard cuts of batiks and heavily gold embellished fabrics as well as some more daily use type fabrics. 20+ yards for $5.99.
I washed one of the gold embellished ones this morning and it came out beautifully. No dye loss or metallic loss and it became quite supple and not so stiff.
I don't always know what I'm looking for, but I know when I find it!

Thanks all! For those who are interested, thrift is run by Catholic Charities and is called Threads of Hope. There are only 6 stores in the entire state of Maine. I will be donating items to them in the near future, too. I have gotten to know the ladies who work there and they are always on the look out for me for appliances and sewing machines. Super nice folks and I love "helping" the community.
Always a win-win.
