I am making a toy story quilt for a little boy in our church who is having a difficult time. I was able to cut 30 6.5 inch squares to highlight the material. How should I turn this into a twin sized blankie? I have 2.5 yards of coordinating fabric that is dark blue with bright planets.

You could look through the quilt blocks on Quilters Cache and see if you can find a nice one that uses a 6-1/2" block for a center, then build your quilt around that. That would give you 30 blocks which would make a great quilt.

Warm wishes works great to show case the toy story fabric. I'm sure whatever you choose he will be very happy.
