I love how many people like purple! It is great to know I am not alone. My sewing room has purple too, even my ironing board cover.

Annesthread, your quilt with purple sashing is beautiful. I think it should go on your bed!!

Oh my!! At Thanksgiving, my SIL was here and we worked on some of her UFOs (8). I think she purposely made UFOs so I could help. LOL But I was teasing her because every quilt had lime green in it. It did not matter what the over-all color was, but each had lime green!!! After I pointed it out, we had a good laugh but that girl loves lime green!!

I'm with you. Every quilt needs some purple in it.

Purple is one of my favs too. Love your quilt. What was the quick way to make Trip Around The World? I've done it before where you sew the strips into tubes first. What did you do?

I'm like you--I love the purples and have to fight with myself to choose other colors.

But I really like purple! At the same time, I did admire the choices around me. Maybe next time I will branch out and try a non-purple, but I doubt it....

Do you have a color that you just HAVE to use?

Oh, here is the top. I just finished it....and I REALLY like it. Can't go wrong with purple.
