it looks like a variation of grandmother's flower garden where each hex is made with 6 "pieces of the pie" and every other one is white.

I like it! I haven't seen it either. Have tried the old Google image search, so far no luck...
I wonder why they didn't have the info about the quilt on a paper beside it...

Those are six kite shapes making each small circle. Then 7 of those are arranged in a circle (with one in the center) the same way a Seven Sisters pattern is formed, with green diamonds and triangles joining the circles. But I don't know the name of the pattern offhand. Not one which is often seen, for sure.

I could see the large hexagon, made up by the smaller blocks that have the pie shaped wedges/ kite pieces... I'm trying to figure out easiest way it would be put together...hmmm...

Missouri Star quilt Co. has the template for this. I just saw someone asking about it on facebook.

You might inquire at the website Paperpieces.com. They might know the information. It certainly doesn't look old probably made with current reproduction fabrics.

Here's a picture of the whole quilt. It is from the thirties. A lady in Canada said that it was called Princess Pea and that the crown was always in green.
