Yesterday yes on Black Friday I went against better judgement and went to Joann's. It was not busy I went in got what I wanted and was on my way home in under 30 min yes I said under 30 min. but the most amazing thing was I only spent $25.34. This is what I got 5 yards of flannel, 2 bags of fiberfil 32oz size, 3 yards of felt, a car charger for my cell phone, and a soda. Not a bad trip at all.

I went to Joann's this morning and it was crazy. I found the perfect princess flannel for a quilt backing and when I got to the cutting table there was a looooong line waiting. I picked #28 and they were cutting fabric for #3. As much as I wanted that fabric I wasn't going to spent forever in line. I'll try again in a few days. The lines at the registers were long too.

I went to JoAnn's today (Saturday) for fleece and Christmas cottons at 10 this morning. Cutting table was on #2 when I picked up my number (#53) and began looking through fabrics. I got all the fleece I'll be needing for the next year or so and stocked up on cotton Christmas prints, but forgot to pick up Fall and Thanksgiving prints (70% off). Checked out at 11:30 am after spending $100 with 25% off coupon. Yes the line was long but people in good spirits for the most part and there were 6 people cutting fabric and plenty of other store personnel answering questions, putting fabric back on shelves, etc. Now to get sewing .....

I went shopping on Black Friday and came home with my new sewing machine. The Dealer was not busy when I arrived. She knew that I was coming...I had emailed her a few days prior and she made me an offer I could not pass on. Otherwise, I steered clear of all stores.
