The quilt is simply stunning. You must be so proud of your daughter. I've always loved the name Quinn. ALas, I had 3 boys so never got a chance to use it!

The fabric in one "log" looks like lace but is actually just a loopy print in the black fabric. There were 5 logs on each side of this one, with a 1.75-inch "hearth" block.

Actually, MaryEllen, our Quinn IS a boy; he's the fifth in line with his name, so I suggested Quinn as a nickname for Quint (the V!)
