I like the one with more orange in the center. Seems to have more movement to me.

I like the one with the orange around the outside. The yellow is lost in the other to my eye

Happy to help with the pics. Sew... my first response was for the orange on the outside as it ends the design.

But ... if you are going to add a border, the yellow design with a dark orange border. See why I’m asking about borders?

Can you tell me if this is a Snail trail mixed with Storm at sea? Or something else. I’ve been looking at the AQ dies today and still learning about these patterns.

The different color layouts really change the look.

I find my eye is drawn to the orange. which means I like the one with orange in the center. I don't want to be drawn to an outside border, I want to see a strong center. Love the design!

They both look great, but I think I like the yellow one better.

They are both nice, but I prefer the orange as it draws me to the details of the pattern more than the yellow. I do have to admit that the yellow is more calming and relaxing. Of course, the print and coloration in the batiks you are using might make a difference in the final appearance too unless they are very plain. That's why I love batiks, they are always different because of the designs on them. Whichever you choose will be lovely.

I prefer the yellow, because it draws my eyes to the movement in the middle of the quilt. For me, the orange draws my eyes to the snails trails that frame the quilt. I agree with Rhonda that your border choice will affect the overall look. Either way is a win, though, because that is going to be an outstanding quilt.

Orange is my favorite color in the world but the one you labeled “yellow” appeals to my eyes more. I love your snail trail/storm at sea combination, though. Lovely layout!

Both are great and very pretty but I think I tend to lean towards the yellow being a little more predominate one. You sure are technology smart. That is a wonderful gift!! I can't even put a picture of my finished quilts on this board. I always have to have my grandchildren help me out on the computer.
