    Default online shopping for thread

Where do you buy your sewing threads from? I am looking for a online store that will post internationally.
Today I purchased 5 reels of Gutermann Polyester thread which cost me $32.95 my DH said to look online, but I am sure some one here on QB will be able to help me

    Try www.jhittlefunoverload.com

They are wholesalers but will sell to the public. I buy Gutermann 100% cotton, 800 mts. Here in Australia these sell for $13.95 each. I buy a box of 5 for $27.21. For thread and sewing notions they are great. I've been dealing with them for about 5 years.

Connecting Threads. I use cotton only in my quilts and prefer Signature & or King Tut. Good thread is not inexpensive but worth the price .

Thanks katesnanna I like Gutermann, but am finding it a bit expensive retail.

Thread Art ship to the UK, so I think they'll ship to New Zealand too. I've only tried their cotton and while I wouldn't say it stands up against the likes of Aurifil, I don't see any difference in comparison with the likes of Connecting Threads (who don't ship internationally).
    Happy quilting!

Connecting Threads is good, but they do not ship internationally, as Knitette points out. Hittle has some good bargains but the worst web site ever, and they also do not ship internationally. Superior Threads does ship internationally and has excellent thread, but they have only their own brands. I use their Bottom Line for piecing, top and bottom.

Just to clarify - I think Hittle used to ship internationally, but their web site says that they no longer do.

I love Wawak.... they are a awesome source for lots of supplies. They have fabulous sales , so make sure to get on the e- mailing list. Here in the US I get my package in two days. Customer service is top notch. I am not sure about the international shipping .I could not find anything on the international shipping only US is showing on the site. But send off an e- mail inquiry.

What type thread are you looking for. Would be helpful to know to give good sources for ordering.
