Default Town & Country Quilted Jacket Pattern from Annies Catalog

I'd like to order the Town and Country jacket pattern from Annie's catalog but am unable to determine if the sleeve is set in or a dolman. I've contacted Annie's and they don't know either. Has anyone tried this pattern? Thank You in advance.

wikipedia says "Dolman sleeves are created by making the fabric near the shoulder a wider cut than toward the wrist." or "with wide cape like arrangements instead of sleeves"

Thank you so much, I've always had difficulty with set in sleeves, but I love the jacket and may give it a try.

The "secret" to set-in sleeves is NOT to set them in, but to sew them in flat before you do the side/underarm seam and then do the the side and arm sleeve all at once.

Another name for the dolman sleeve is the batwing sleeve. To set in the sleeve, sew it flat as suggested, and pin the daylights out of the seam to be sewn. Vogue sewing book should give you good directions for how to do it. Good luck and don't be intimidated. Practice on some fabrics ahead of time until you get the knack of it.

for set-in sleeves--- sew as for any curved seam---put the 'larger'piece on the bottom and disengaged any type of walking foot---[IDT-Pfaff]---let the feed dogs ease in the curve---works great---also sew open or flat as others have sugested

I have made this pattern many times. It goes together very easily, the one thing I don't like about it is the way the collar is done.I changed it after the first one. I am also tall so I had to lengthen it.
