Only Pink and White for GGD
My great granddaughter (age 10 and ultra "girly") has asked me to make a pink and white quilt for her bed. (It's twin size bed).
I know, I know........it should be easy. But I want this to be special, and I'm a novice.
Any ideas on what would be a particularly good pattern for this?
TIA,
Skeetersmom

I agree about the Falling Charms quilt. It would be beautiful done in pinks and white. I am going to make myself a quilt in pinks and white. I was going to do a string quilt but I think I may try the Falling Charms instead. LOL!!

The above suggestion are good but did you just want to buy two fabrics. If so you could do a D9P with just two colors. You could also do something with Flying Geese. They may look hard but Eleanor Burns of Quilt in a Day makes them so easy to make. Good Luck. She will love it no matter what because you made it with a whole lot of love.

Missouri Star Quilt Co also has a pattern for Katie's Quilt - that is really cute- I just got a new "Quilters World" quilt magazine and they have a really cute quilt that has applique elephants on it. You could also make a plain quilt and add cute appliques.

Use many pinks and whites and you'll have a very "warm", aesthetically appealing quilt.
The picture is a bit redder than the actual quilt, but you would choose your own colors.

Big thanks to each of you for your wonderful suggestions. Hmmmm, now, which one to go with.......
I've done the falling charms, and love the look. I've always wanted to do a Sunbonnet Sue, so that's a really good thought too. Loved all your suggestions, will give this more thought and will try and post a pic when it's finished.
Thanks again!!
