On the first weekend in September, a horrible storm almost destroyed our Hobby Lobby. It was a Saturday and the store was very busy. By the grace of God, no one was seriously injured.

Repairs on the store started almost immediately. I have missed our store so much. I used to go there several times a week. And I know the employees missed their jobs as well.

Hobby Lobby sent out their weekly email and it stated that our store was re-opening this month!!! I am so excited but I am sure my pocket book is dreading it. LOL!!!

They have a very nice fabric selection and awesome yarn selection. DD has a gift card to HL and is so excited to get to use it.

I have never been to a Hobby Lobby, everyone says they are great. I think I have to cross over to Ohio.

What do they sell for the quilters? Are the prices good? I used to go to our "Fountain Hobby" and it was pretty high. Thanks,

Are they starting to rebuild it at all? I sure hope they do. I would be lost without the ones in this area. I'm actually planning to go tomorrow to get some silk greenery to put over an old hanging TV stand and hide that awful thing until I'm ready to patch the wall and repaint the room (I dread that - so for now - I'll cover it up with a nice full drapey basket of greenery. Yeah Hobby Lobby!

Sherri thrilled for you all in the Hills of North East Tennessee!

The Hobby Lobby stores in my area always have their "calicos" on sale at 30% off. As long as they're always on sale you can't use any Joann's coupons.
Here's a link to see if there are any stores in your state or a neighboring state:

I am really excited about Hobby Lobby reopening-my daughter and I go and we spend hours in that store and naturally my grandson and I have fun buying coloring books and markers. My daughter was gong in the store that day the storm came but had to get pictures delivered to a customer-Thank God she went back to her car and left right before the storm hit. I thank God no one was injured that day but other busnesses some people were hurt and stores was damaged.
