It seems like a lot of cat lovers are also quilter's.
Mine little girl, is 15 years old, and Diabetic. Two
shots a day. Very expensive, but we keep saying
"we love her". You sew, she is there.

My husband and son have two of everything in our garage...2 snowmachines, two fourwheelers, two speedboats (and I have a cabin cruiser for myself and as a 'home base' for the guys to come and have lunch)
Yes they have thier share of toys....I just asked for a sewing machine instead of a snowmachine :)

Mine is sew happy that I have taken up quilting. He now can watch all the sports he wants to without feeling guilty because I am as happy as can be in my little room at the back of the house. When he is not watching sports, he is in the garage with all his "hood" buddies.

My BF plays paintball (semi-pro) it's $100 just for the priviledge of walking onto the playing field.

Not to mention jersey, pants, pads, goggles, gloves, spikes, more pads, and the GUNS $$$$$$.

He has 4 guns, and he has let me be there when purchasing the last two - OUCH - each as much as my embroidery machine!!

Last year his team went to nationals, and they are planning on going again this year.

He has mentioned that he spends more on his hobby than I spend on mine. I'm not going to argue with him!!

My hubby has a 4-wheeler with a removable blade to use in the winter for snow removal, and has a small fishing boat and motor to go fishing on the lake near our cottage. Also has always had a snowmobile in the past, just gave up that passtime.

One year while my husband was on a hunting trip with our son for a week, the rest of the family cleaned out his garage and put in new cabinets and painted some old ones and organized it for him. He still complains he can't find things!

Birthday Present for Hubby!
