I lived 42 years in The Plains, VA. I sorely miss it as I am now in Maryland and hate it. I would love to go in October for my birthday, no one here could refuse me. Let's do it!

I hate to tell everyone this :( but I just got a reply back about my inquiry for the October retreat and they are already full. So I think we should all consider planning one for 2012. They do it in April and in October. The weather can still be questionable in April but October is always so beautiful and still nice and warm. There is absolutely nothing more gorgeous than the Blue Ridge Mtns in the fall. The colors are unbelieveable. So does anyone want to start planning a retreat for October 2012 there in the Blue Ridge Mts at Overall Quilters?

Thanks,
Sherryl

That looks like so much fun! I am not too very far! Yes, for those of you who haven't seen the Blue Ridge Mountains, you are in for a treat, especially if you go in October. The fall leaf colors are really amazing.

I want to go see the Blue Ridge Mountains one day. I have heard they are just the most beautifulest mountains you will ever see.
