Too much hard training instilled in me that when you get up you get dressed, won't allow me to relax like that. However, I have had almost complete days in bed to snooze, read, watch TV to compensate for it...and it is wonderful.
Do you find that the quilting goes better on your relax days?
The colour combination you have there looks promising.

I love your fabrics for the jacket! I look forward to seeing your pictures when you are finished! I am having a jammies day today, too. Working on machine quilting a two-color Lone Star.

Yep, about once a month I have a jammie day. My SIL started me on that. Her DH brings in breakfast and cooks the rest of the day. She stays in bed, watches movies and reads. I would have to be sick to stay in bed all day but I do just what I want for the day.

I try to take those days when ever I can; seems good for the soul. Just don't have enough of them.

I love those days! Don't have many, and my DH doesn't believe in stay in your PJs. But that's his problem, I'm the one who does.

When DH has to travel for work I just love it even though I miss him, I look forward to not having to get dressed if I don't want to. Last time I had a friend that thought I was depressed over him leaving because I wouldn't go out! I was making a quilt for goodness sakes, nothing makes me happier! She does not sew or understand, LOL.

Well, I guess I had a pj day yesterday, only I was dressed in a t-shirt and shorts!! I worked for 12 hours, with a few breaks, on a pieced quilt border that has given me a major headache. Thankfully I have THE BEST FRIEND IN THE WORLD, who lives in WI. Between phone calls and sending pics back and forth with our phone and her wonderful sketching ability, she solved my problem. Still have to work on it today...after work, but will post pic when it is done!

Enjoy your pj day #2!!!

I love pajama days only I call mine nightgown days. It is so nice to just lounge around once in awhile. It took me a while to learn this after working most of my life but now that I know about it I love it.
