Wayback Machine, Wow!!! Wish I could use it to go back to college and study something useable. Sill, it's nice to be able to find Pam Bono's free patterns on the internet somewhere in space. Thanks for suggestion that.

I love her quilts. First one I made I thought was hard but by following her instructions to the letter it was outstanding and not as difficult as I thought it would be. I was in her online club and still cannot believe she is gone.

I searched for her, "A banquet of Quilts" that books sells for anywhere from 200.00 to 900.00 and more. I wonder why. For those of you not familiar with her work, go to the way back machine and type in ...http://pamsclub.com/.. and you can download her free patterns.

I share her philosophy about slowing down to make a beautiful, intricate quilt to be very proud of. I have a pattern from a magazine dating back about 10 years that I will someday make into a wedding quilt for my son

I got started making quilts using Pam's "Rotary Cutter Quilts" and learned all my basic piecing techniques from there! It was my only "teacher". I've since "moderized" a few things like Flying Geese, but I am soooo glad that was the first book I bought!!

The Pam Bono sites were taken down by the family shortly after the death of her and her husband. If you were a member of the PamsClub you were able to download anything you wanted for a few days. She and her husband are surely missed in the quiltin community. I love her patterns. They have a lot of pieces but go together beautifully. You must follow her instructions to the letter though.
